Primošten

This small town is situated in the Dalmatian region near Sibenik and a little bit further north than Split (along the coastal road). Despite its island-like shape, the town became connected to the mainland in the 16th century.

St. George’s Church is a major attraction, as is its bell tower and cemetery. It was built in the 15th century from white stone.

In Primosten, on Gaj hill, you can find a shrine dedicated to the Virgin Mary called Our Lady of Loretto. With a height of 17 metres, it is an impressive structure, but it also offers a great view of the town.

There are several nightclubs in Primosten popular with renowned DJs, including Aurora, a popular spot in Croatia.
